Too often, women are released without the basic essentials or affirmations they need to feel seen, valued, and prepared for a fresh start. This initiative ensures that their first steps home are met with love, encouragement, and tangible support.
Upon their release, participants receive our signature pink affirmation care packages, beautifully curated boxes filled with everyday essentials, hygiene products, wellness products, wellness items, and uplifting messages designed to remind them of their worth. These care packages are not a one-time gesture but a sustained commitment: they are provided up to three months, helping to ease the difficult transition back into community life.
Beyond the items inside, these packages symbolize hope, restoration, and the belief that every woman deserves a second chance. They are meant to comfort, inspire, and empower recipients as they rebuild their lives, reconnect their families, and reimagine their future.
The When She Comes Home Initiative is carried out in partnership with Sarah Jakes Robert of Woman Evolve, aligning with shared vision of nurturing women through faith, resilience, and empowering. Together, we are ensuring that no woman walks alone when she takes her first step back into society.
